Reproflex3’s Project Blue is a patented disruptive process developed and owned in-house. A combination of highly technical skills and utilisation of core technology have been used to transform FMCG packaging into a powerful product that appeals to the consumer’s senses, values and emotions.
Combining Project Blue with Roberts Mart’s & Co Ltd SpectRM printing process, which brings 8 colour quality to 4 colour printing, has enabled the production of gravure quality products from flexographic plates.
This technological advancement has resulted in Reproflex3 & Roberts Mart being awarded GOLD in the recently announced Kodak Flexo Innovation Awards - pertaining to Conversion from other print processes, Print Production Workflow Efficiency, and Commitment to Sustainable Print.

A combination of our innovative Project Blue repro/plate making and Roberts Mart’s & Co Ltd SpectRM print process proved that flexo delivered quality and consistency that matched gravure. As a result, our client switched all the products supplied into the Project Blue/SpectRM process.
As well as meeting the client’s quality and consistency requirements, it also facilitates quicker turnaround of designs, faster job changes, and savings on materials and power, which can only benefit the environment.
We’re actively converting existing and new customers to flexo, converting designs that were previously printed gravure into patent pending Project Blue.
