Reproflex3 is proud to announce that Ethan Campbell has been shortlisted for Apprentice of the Year at the 2026 Made in the North East Awards, hosted by Business Insider.

The awards celebrate manufacturing excellence across the region, with winners set to be announced at a gala dinner at the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead on 26 March 2026. Following the event, winners will automatically progress to the national Made in the UK Awards.

At just 17, Ethan achieved a Distinction in his Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Apprenticeship, demonstrating outstanding technical ability, professionalism and making significant contributions to Reproflex3’s operations.

He will now compete against nominees from 10 other local companies for the prestigious Made in the North East Apprentice of the Year title.

Ethan’s nomination also builds on Reproflex3’s previous success at the awards.

In 2023, the company won the Made in the North East Digital Technology/Engineering Award, before going on to beat companies representing all nine English regions to secure the national Made in the UK Digital Technology/Engineering Award, recognising Reproflex3’s innovations in flexographic print technology and cutting-edge approach to manufacturing.

Gavin Lowes, Global Operations Team Manager at Reproflex3 and a former apprentice, said:
“Ethan’s achievement reflects his dedication, professionalism and passion for learning. We’re incredibly proud to see his hard work recognised at this level, and it continues our strong track record at these prestigious awards.

“We wish Ethan the very best of luck at the awards ceremony and look forward to celebrating the region’s manufacturing success.”
