We are the innovators behind the multi award-winning flexible and corrugated high-definition screening technologies ProjectBlue and Vortex. The business is headquartered in the UK and operates production facilities and prepress studios in the United Arab Emirates, India and New Zealand serving the Middle East and Africa, India and Asia, Europe and Australasia.

The Role

In this full-time role, you will be responsible for preparing, processing and ensuring the quality of print ready files for our corrugated packaging clients in the UK and overseas. You will work closely with clients, account managers and other members of the Corrugate Studio Team to deliver high quality prints within specified deadlines.

Location

The role is based at our Louth office in Lincolnshire and involves elements of remote working.

Key Responsibilities

1. File Preparation

  • Convert and prepare artwork files into the correct format for flexographic printing.
  • Ensure all files are correctly formatted, colour managed and optimised.
  • Preform pre-flighting to identify potential issues and provide solutions for best print results.

2. Quality Control

  • Conduct thorough checks of all files for accuracy, consistency and adherence to client specifications.
  • Maintain high standards of quality control, ensuring that all outputs are free of errors and defects.
  • Implement and adhere to standard operating procedures for file handling and processing.

3. Technical Proficiency

  • Utilise industry standard software such as Adobe Illustrator, Esko Artpro or Hybrid Packz effectively.

Experience

  • Previous experience working in a reprographics role for corrugated packaging.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Previous experience working in Esko Artpro or Hybrid Packz would be preferred.
  • Strong understanding of colour theory, print production processes and corrugated materials.
  • Excellent attention to detail with troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong customer satisfaction and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
